SAN ANTONIO (AP) - Memphis freshman standout Derrick Rose may
have a secret weapon, Gummy Bears. Rose and his University of
Memphis Tigers face Kansas tonight in the NCAA basketball
championship game. Memphis teammate Chris Douglas-Roberts says Rose
eats "Gummy Bears and Starburst for breakfast, and Twizzlers and
Honey Buns for dinner." Douglas-Roberts says no one eats more
Gummy Bears than Rose. Rose missed yesterday's media session with
stomach troubles. His teammates aren't too worried, though. They
think Rose probably just ate too many Gummy Bears.
