Barry Bonds Pleads Not Guilty

San Francisco Sports Barry Bonds has pleaded not guilty to 15 felony charges of lying to a federal grand jury about his performance-enhancing drug use.

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - Barry Bonds has pleaded not guilty to 15
felony charges of lying to a federal grand jury about his
performance-enhancing drug use.
Baseball's home run king pleaded not guilty to similar
accusations in December, but a judge ordered prosecutors to rewrite
the indictment. The new indictment includes no new allegations.
Bonds was re-arraigned Friday on 15 felony counts of lying under
oath. Prosecutors say he lied when he told a grand jury
investigating the Bay Area Laboratory Co-Operative in 2003 that he
never knowingly took steroids or other performance-enhancing drugs.
Bonds also is scheduled to appear later Friday at a status
conference where a trial date might be set.

There’s just not enough supporting evidence if you ask me. I’m not even a sports fan, but I read a little about this before. I think it’s just some jealous players, and friends, that are mad cause he made it further than they did. It’s their word against his.

Well you saw what they did to Pete Rose. If he is found guilty on one or any of these charges, the same chain of punishments should be applied to him as well. Reminds you of that clip from the movie where the young boy says” SAY IT AINT SO JOE!”.
