LOS ANGELES (AP) - Newlyweds Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are
expecting.
The celebrity couple got married this month in Los Angeles a
year and a-half after they began dating. She's a 23-year-old singer
and actress. He's the 28-year-old bassist for the group, Fall Out
Boy.
At the time of the wedding, they were denying speculation that
the bride was pregnant. But in a statement confirming it, they
explain they wanted to wait until after the first trimester to
confirm anything.
On his blog, Wentz says, "This is truly the most joyous time in
our lives and we are excited to share the happy news and start our
family."
