Actress Natasha Richardson Has Died

Obit Actress The 45-year-old was injured Monday in a skiing accident. Her mother is Oscar winning actress Vanessa Redgrave. She was married to actor Liam Neeson.

NEW YORK (AP) - A spokesman for the family of Natasha Richardson
says the actress has died.
Richardson, a gifted and precocious heiress to acting royalty
whose career highlights included the film "Patty Hearst" and a
Tony-winning performance in a stage revival of "Cabaret," died
after suffering an apparent head injury from a skiing accident. She
was 45
Alan Nierob of Rogers & Cowan said in a statement Wednesday
night: "Liam Neeson, his sons, and the entire family are shocked
and devastated by the tragic death of their beloved Natasha. They
are profoundly grateful for the support, love and prayers of
everyone, and ask for privacy during this very difficult time."

There was this little movie on Encore, or one of those type channels called Widow’s Peak. Didn’t think I would care much for the flick, but I got captivated by an actress I wasn’t familiar with at the time. That was Natasha Richardson.

Very sad that her life was cut so short.

I saw her in Nell, and she became a favorite of mine from then on. She was a great actress and it’s sad for her family as well as her fans who will not get to see her rise to her potential now. My thoughts and prayers sre with her family.
