Actor Ricardo Montalban Dies

Obit Actor The Mexican-born actor who played the wish-fulfilling Mr. Roarke on "Fantasy Island" has died. Ricardo Montalban was 88.

LOS ANGELES (AP) - A Los Angeles city councilman says Ricardo
Montalban has died. He was 88.
The Mexican-born actor, who became a star in splashy MGM
musicals and later the wish-fulfilling Mr. Roarke in TV's "Fantasy
Island," died at his home in Los Angeles, City Council President
Eric Garcetti said Wednesday.
Montalban lived in Garcetti's district in Los Angeles.
