NEW YORK (AP) - Rapper 50 Cent is taking Taco Bell to court.
The entertainer alleges that the fast-food restaurant chain is
using his name without permission in advertising that asks him to
call himself 99 Cent.
A federal lawsuit filed in New York alleges that Taco Bell
features 50 Cent in a print ad asking him to change his name to 79
Cent, 89 Cent or 99 Cent. His real name is Curtis Jackson.
Attorney Peter Raymond says his client didn't learn about the
the ad campaign until he saw a news report about it. Raymond said
his client is seeking 4 million dollars in damages.

It’s not a commercial KxVx it’s just a rumor that was put out! I don’t think the suit is gonna stick. This is the story he’s suing over!

Basically, what it amounts to is that he’s ran out of things to rap about, hence the new “Throw Back Album”! So he’s looking for a quick million, hahhahaa!

How come he’s rich? Some of the citizens made him that way buy buying his music and such. Living the American dream it seems to me. Not that much different than what Taco Bell has done. Promoting and selling their products. Pretty sure Taco Bell isn’t exactly destitute. While litigation is another one of those things that are wrong with this courts these days it’s aburd to suggest someone should change their name in a commercial. More power to the half dollar.
