German steel maker Thyssenkrupp is building a new training center.
The center will provide hands on job training to future TK employees. It is being built near the plant site just off Highway 43 near Calvert.
Construction on the training center will start July 7 and take about a year.
The TK steel plant will not start production until 2010.
