ThyssenKrupp has put out the 'Help Wanted' sign. The company is now hiring people to work at the multi-billion dollar steel plant that will be built in North Mobile County.The German steel maker is seeking qualified professionals to fill jobs in Operations Management, Accounting and Finance, Information Technology, Human Resources, Logistics, Purchasing, Project Management, Maintenance Management, Production Planning, Steel Sales and Marketing, Environmental Health and Safety, Engineering, and Quality Assurance.
Anyone who is interested in applying for a job with ThyssenKrupp can view openings and submit their resumes online by clicking here. New openings will be added regularly the company encourages interested applicants to visit the site often.
Resumes that were submitted to the Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce or Alabama Industrial Development Training have now been turned over to ThyssenKrupp. There is now need to resubmit your application.
“This is a great opportunity for new hires to get in on the ground floor of what is expected to be one of the largest private industrial development projects in the United States over the next decade,” said Andy Ritter, Vice President of Human Resources at ThyssenKrupp Steel USA. “We want to thank the Chamber and AIDT for coordinating resumes on our behalf for the past months and we are pleased that we are now ready to receive them through our own site.”
When the plant is fully operational, it will employ 2,700 people.
