Tuesday voters in Mobile County will head to the polls to decide if millions of dollars should go to the new ThyssenKrupp steel mill plant.Voters will decide if 70 million dollars should come from the pay as you go road and bridge fund. County Commissioner Steve Nodine told News Five utilizing the money would not affect the general fund and would not raise taxes. Nodide also said using money from the pay-as-you go program would not affect any future projects concerning roads and bridges. "More of the ad valorem -- the more people that come here to work and buy cars, boats or anything else, our ad valorem taxes increase and that goes immediately back into the pay as you go program," said Mobile County Commissioner Steve Nodine.
