suing Boeing Corp. over the crash of an F-15C Eagle he was flying
on a training mission.
Maj. Stephen Stilwell says he suffered serious injuries when he
ejected as the aircraft broke in half over southern Missouri.
The accident last November prompted the Air Force to ground more
than 300 older model F-15s. The Air Force says it found cracks in
some of the planes and parts that didn't meet safety specifications
in others.
The planes were built by McDonnell Douglas Corp. before that
company was purchased by Boeing.
A Boeing spokesman has not responded to a call seeking comment.
