Mobile County Circuit Court Judge Rick Stout dismissed a lawsuit Friday involving the recent annexation of West Mobile.
Plaintiffs argued that the City of Mobile racially disproportionately configured series of voting districts. Plaintiffs also stated in the lawsuit that the four voting areas were drawn illegally.

Area A, which was the Schillinger Road business district and the Mobile Terrace neighborhood, approved the annexation lawsuit. They are now part of the City of Mobile.
