PASCAGOULA, Mississippi - Pascagoula police say someone fired five shots near the Jackson County Fair during a "Midnight Madness" event. Police say at around 1:30 Saturday morning they received a call of shots fired on Vega Street near the south side of the fairgrounds. Witnesses say an unidentified black male fired four to five shots into the air then ran towards Hospital Road. Police were able to locate five 40 caliber shell casings, but were unable to find the suspect. Police say no one was hurt.
