A man missing from his home in Pascagoula has been found. 82 year old Robert Benefield headed for the store yesterday and didn't return home. His family called him on his cell phone, he was on interstate ten not sure what state he was in. A paramedic in Baton Rouge, Louisiana found him sitting in his vehicle disoriented near LSU's campus around 5:45 pm.
Benefield, who suffers from dementia, is in good condition. His family is grateful to have him back home.

Sometimes men just have to have a road trip adventure to get the blood flowing. He may have had a good moment and hit the road.

He was able to drive safely all the way to Baton Rouge, which at 82 would be exhausting after fighting the average speeding idiots on the road.

Thankfully he is safe, and no thugs found him.

He was probably safer on his road trip than many seniors are leaving walmart and walking to their cars.

I hope the family now recognizes that this gentleman can’t be allowed out alone or as a driver of a vehicle. They are lucky to have him home safe and sound, as there are thugs out there that prey on innocent victims like Mr. Benefield.
But I’m so happy this story had a happy ending!!
