A scuffle over a bottle of fuel treatment has landed a Three Rivers man in jail.According to the Jackson County Sheriff's Department, Steve Morris was picked up by the Jones County Sheriff's Department Thursday and is being brought back to Jackson County to face robbery charges.
Investigators say, back in December, Morris assaulted a store clerk who was trying to stop him from stealing a bottle of fuel treatment from a store in the Hurley community.
The 41-year old Morris lives on Pascagoula Road in the Three Rivers community of Jackson County.
He is being held in the Jackson County Detention center.
