Oh Poop! Dogs Banned From Biloxi Bay Bridge

OCEAN SPRINGS, Mississippi - (AP) - The doggy bag dispenser on the Ocean Springs side of the Biloxi Bay will be removed and replaced with a
"No Dogs" sign this week.

The ban comes after the city's board of aldermen were told of a
problem of more poop than scoop by people and their pets taking
walks on the bridge.

City leaders say they are not sure how they will enforce the ban
on Biloxi walkers and pets.

Officials are working on a creating a dog park for the city so
animals can have a place to run and play with their owners.

A 2004 city ordinance requires pet owners to clean up after
their animals in place since 2004.

Biloxi officials say they have not had any complaints about dog
waste on the bridge.

Hi cmb1, I cleaned up her poop, I just could not leave it there.

Sometimes it is hard to confront these low class bottom dwellers. They are too self-centered to think they may cause a health hazard to others. Plus her dog looked as mean as she looked stupid and who wants to waste their time arguing with someone who actually wears pink stretch pants.

I have two 45lb dogs and I have never left a deposit anywhere we have gone. It’s called taking responsibility.

That is when i would have said excuse me mam? There is always that someone who ruins it for everyone! Makes you wonder what there house and yard look and smell like?

The city provided poop bags, how much effort does it take to pick up after your dog.

The dogs enjoy walking across bridges like this with the sea breezes and new smells. Now, as usual, a few morons ruin it for everyone by not being responsible enough to carry a free poop bag.

The same problem exists at the Daphne dog park. While many responsible people pick up after their dogs, there are those self-absorbed idiots who think their dog’s poop doesn’t stink and wish to display for everyone to enjoy.

I watched an obese woman walk her dog down the path toward the park, the dogged pooped, she looked at it, then looked at me, then walked on leaving it in the middle of the path.

Some people just can’t stand for a community to have anything nice.
