New Developments in Murder Case

Mississippi Murder  A burned-out car was found at a local horse arena and authorites say it belongs to a murdered elderly couple.

Jackson County, Mississippi authorities are on the lookout for a possible suspect in the murder of an elderly couple. Edward and Cherilene Redd were found murdered in their home in Jefferson Davis County Saturday morning. Sunday morning, the couple's burned-out car was found at the Jackson County Horse Arena in Vancleave.

The coroner in Jefferson Davis County says the couple died a violent death and had been dead for 24 to 36 hours when they were found.
The cause of death was not released.
