JACKSON, MISS. (AP) - It's some hot stuff -- and it's not the
just peppers. Authorities in Mississippi report finding a load of
pot in a tractor-trailer rig hauling peppers and celery. The bust
came at an inspection station on I-55 in DeSoto County. Officers
became suspicious because the tractor's license plate was in the
front window instead of being attached to the truck. Authorities
say they found 22 large bundles of the illegal weed in the load of
hot peppers. The value of the pot is put at about $460,000. The
driver was arrested.

More and more drugs are being confiscated on the Interstates of Mississippi.  A friend works with one of the drug task force agencies and they are self sufficient as far as their vehicles, salaries, fuel and maintenance.  The amount of cash they seize along with the drug bust they make is unbelieveable.  One day the dopers will learn and stop bringing their drugs to our state.
