Mississippi State Tennis Player Accused Of Rape

Mississippi Starkville Girl says Christopher Doerr raped her this weekend during a party at his apartment.

STARKVILLE, Miss. (AP) - Authorities say a Mississippi State
University tennis player has been arrested and charged with rape
and furnishing beer to a minor.
The player, 20-year-old Christopher Richard Doerr, is from
London.
The woman who signed sworn statements against him is also 20.
The sheriff's department did not release her name.
Oktibbeha County Chief Deputy George Carrithers says Doerr was
arrested Monday and remained in jail Tuesday under a $50,500 bond.
Carrithers says deputies were called to the Oktibbeha County
Hospital on Sunday "to talk to a female about a sexual assault."
The woman told deputies she was assaulted at Doerr's Starkville
apartment late Saturday or early Sunday while a party was taking
place.
MSU Athletic Department officials say they can't comment on
Doerr's status while the investigation continues.

I attend State and I also live in the same apartment complex as this young man. My roommates along with myself have gone to his apartment multiple times in the past and I think it is very important to stress the fact that he is Innocent until PROVEN guilty.

Wait a minute…..I thought I was reading about a Mississippi state tennis player…...How in the world did Brianna get pulled to this story…Good grief.
I agree with the both of you, however, I dont think that I would be at someone’s apartment into the wee hours of the morning, after partying all night….which included drinking. I dont think it is fair to blast this guys picture all the computer…INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY!!!

Brianna was at a bar, talking to strange men early in the morning. This is dangerous behavior.

No where I have said that anyone DESERVES anything!
But people DO put themselves in dangerous situations, and bad things happen when you put yourself in bad situations.

You couldnt show your face and tell Brianna’s parents their daughter asked for it. No one asks to be assaulted or murdered. Shame on you.. shame shame shame.
