JACKSON, Miss. (AP) - Mississippi lawmakers adopted a resolution
Friday commending the career of slain football star Steve McNair, a
Mount Olive native who set records as Alcorn State's quarterback
before playing 13 years in the NFL, most of it for the Tennessee
Titans.
McNair's funeral is Saturday in Hattiesburg, Miss., a week after
he was killed by his girlfriend in a murder-suicide in Nashville,
Tenn.
The resolution praised McNair's charitable contributions and
called him "a remarkable athlete who was a role model for all
young quarterbacks." It did not mention how the 36-year-old
athlete was killed.

The way MS is passing resolutions on MJ and Steve McPlayer, I would say thay have been eating bad mexican food.

If a resolution is passed to honor this man, maybe include in that resolution he should do away with the institution of marriage.
However Steve McNair was one heck of a good quarterback. I am a betting man, and as a starter, McNair was 64% winner against the spread.
I wonder how his wife feels. I hope the best for her.
