Dew, for once I agree with you. All the pot heads I’ve known were perfectly nice people. Just let them enjoy themselves and relish how the rug ties the room together. Alcoholics on the other hand. Crikey, they are a pain. I don’t know any other drug that can kill you if you stop cold turkey.

Sounds like a good idea. Fine those caught with it and stop filling up our jails with folks who just want to relax.

Alright, understand what you are saying and yes I can agree. If a person is truely, sick and in need of it for medical like I was, they would have had to come in my house looking because I wasnot going out no where. and by the way I was legal, taking the pill.

I fully support DECRIMINALIZATION, but however do NOT support LEGALIZATION! The reason is simple, TAXES! If it’s decriminalized, you simply pay a fine when caught with it, without any kind of criminal record. If it’s completely LEGALIZED, then Uncle Sam will be able to place a tax on it, driving the prices sky high(theoretically speaking)! It’s nice to know that if you get caught here where I currently live with a joint, that you only looking at a 25$ fine. Where as in the US you’d be looking at paying a lawyer, and court costs, and restitution! ALL FOR A SINGLE JOINT! Come on, when was the last time you read on this news site, that 3 people were killed to to a “high” driver? I can’t even remember one! How many times have you read that someone was killed by a drunk driver? CAN YOU EVEN COUNT THEM? I’m not condoning the use of Marijuana, because it is illegal there! I will however say, and this is coming from someone who has tried and been strung out on many drugs, that Marijuana should be the least of your worries!

But I don’t think these people were grewing it for medical reason. I would like to know what they were using to make their plants look so good. And it wasn’t just the lights.

I guess knowing the benefits of it for medical reasons I don’t believe people should have to go to jail because of it or because they can’t affort the pill form.

barefootangel, i think you just brought that up yourself. Maybe with Obama now in office, more patients will be able to benefit from the medicinal uses of Marijuana without the fear of the FEDS knocking their doors down. He says he supports Medicinal use of Marijuana, and has even toked a few times himself. Even went as far when asked the question “Did you inhale” to say “Isn’t that the point?”! If nothing else, you have to give it to him for being honest! You have to admit though, the world would be a much safer and friendlier place if Marijuana was legal and Alcohol was NOT!

I do not encourage marijuana for fun use but I know for a fact it needs to be legal for medical use. I would back that 100%. Was anyone talking about that or did I just bring it up myself?
