The severe weather that affected much of the Gulf Coast Saturday morning has now claimed at least one life. D'Iberville Police say that 36-year old Eugene Dixon Jr., of D'Iberville Mississippi was found dead after his truck was taken over by rushing flood waters.Around 4 Saturday morning, police received a call from a neighbor after they spotted taillights shining in a drainage ditch behind his residence. When police arrived, they say the vehicle was wedged against a tree in the ditch with its driver's side window down, but no one was inside the vehicle. Police then conducted a search of the area and found Dixon's body approximately 200 yards from the vehicle. The vehicle found in the ditch was registered in Dixon's name.
