LUCEDALE, Miss. (AP) - A Mississippi grand jury is expected to
release its report on the shooting death of a star high school
football player during a traffic stop.
An initial investigation concluded that Billey Joe Johnson had
shot and killed himself with a 12-gauge shotgun.
The 17-year-old's death has inflamed suspicion since Dec. 8.
That's when the standout running back at George County High School
was killed after a deputy stopped him for running a red light.
Assistant District Attorney Brice Wiggins says the grand jury's
report is expected at a hearing Thursday afternoon in George County
Circuit Court in Lucedale.
Johnson's family and the NAACP have rejected suicide as the
cause of the death. They say he had too much to live for including
a shot at playing in the NFL.

I agree with everyone, except bob.  I wish he would give us a detailed explanation that coincides with the gj report and makes sense.  I have said before that I know the gj foreperson and several other members.  The makeup of the gj was 10% black and 90% non-black.  Which is actually a higher percentage of blacks than the population of George County.  So since the vote was unanaimous, all of the members must be idiots or were bribed.  What do you think, bob?  Were all of the experts, law enforcement and gj members in agreement on this coverup?

Let it go and let go deal with it if the cop did it, he will get it in return remeber he is out there still doing wrong, so if he did do it may some real criminal will knock him off and get away with it, and if he killed him self remember either way it happened GOD STILL HAS TO BE THE JUDGE. THE END LET GO AND LET GO DEAL WITH IT.

Told ya he was watching! smile

You are currently ignoring Sirk. View

Even though he says he is ignoring, he is still going back and reading the posts and waiting a while to respond so that it doesn’t look like he is reading it.  He read my post after he said he ignored me or else he wouldn’t know I said anything about the Brianna case.

He is acting like a child who has stuck his fingers in his ears and waving them about saying, nanna nanna nanna.

I think he’s having a manic episode and needs to be treated. I hope someone who reads this knows him and can go check on him.

You are currently ignoring rosepetal.

Wait, that was a tremendously SPOT on response. I tried to make sense of how someone could read the information, possibly investigate a bit about forensics and ballistics yet still discount the testimony of witnesses and question why a small town and community does not have DashCams in every vehicle. Anyhow, my husband pointed out when you continue to argue with someone who has bitten into something and won’t let go..  you are wasting your time. Still, Bobby refuses to explain how he thinks that the officer might have shot the kid from such a low angle, managed to get into his vehicle and magically avoid any spray of HR, GSR or even leave evidence on the gun while having witnesses observe him in his car as the kid’s door was still responding to the blast. Now that’s a true mystery i8n reasonable doubt.

Bamaboob, you continue to talk to youself, you just ramble on and repeat the same things.  But with your last post we now know you are a liar, you do hate cops, and you want one to suffer because YOU think he did it.  The GJ gave their honest opinion of what happened, but because you dont believe it you want to make an innocent officer suffer. You sir are the on that should be ashamed of yourself, you are a discrace to this community.  And I know you put me on ignore, but I’ll bet you still reply to this.

The same people that cried out for justice in the Brianna Parish case now become lock-step with the cops.  Challenging any questions about BJ’s death and attempting to belittle those that question the outcome of the grand jury.

Funny ain’t it?  White girl murdered and the cops are bad!  Black athlete murdered and it was just an accident. If you disagree, then God be with you.

southfan1981, that was beautiful beyond words. thanks. i will try and go see it. how long will it be there?  i will p.m. you one of my zen videos. i found this post on one of the billey joe johnsons boards last night. i think this pretty well says it all.

I am from George County. I am black. I knew and loved this family. I also know losing a child is hard, especially if it is from sucide. Family & friends will grasp at anything to prove otherwise. Do I think it was sucide? NO. Do I think it was an accident? YES. I feel the only fault at this point is attempting to put blame on someone inocent instead of accepting the fact, no matter how painful. Talking about racism. This is making blacks out to be more racist than whites.
