Replant South Mississippi is giving away trees next week to help replace those destroyed by Hurricane Katrina.

On April 28, stop by the parking lot on Krebs Avenue behind the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce in Pascagoula and pick up a 3 gallon tree. The free tree give-away starts at 9:00 a.m. and will last until the trees are gone.

The goal of the Replant South Mississippi Program is to plant 300,000 trees in 5 years.
