BILOXI, Miss. (AP) - A former Biloxi teacher has been indicted
on multiple counts related to allegations she had sex with a
15-year-old male student.
A Harrison County grand jury has indicted Rebecca Dawn Bogard on
charges of exploitation of a child, touching of a child for lustful
purposes and statutory rape. She faces up to 65 years in prison if
convicted.
Authorities say the 28-year-old Bogard was a science teacher the
Biloxi School District's alternative school. School district
officials say the student attended the alternative school.
Police say the alleged sexual activity did not occur on a school
campus.
The school district suspended Bogard with pay following her

its over on fish river carl, at 32 and highway 9, come on over. that guy sure raged at me for some reason. but remember, i am only leaving TWO beers, so you might have to share with him.

Where were these kind of teachers when I was in High School ?

Quick ! Somebody tell where Big daddy’s located so I can run over there and run up a tab on Claycitymadness’s tab. grin .I’d probably drink one and smell one and pass out.

part tres: oh and the point of the alternative school was to point out this kid who remains anonomous had issues, was not like the ideal candidate to be believed. there is more on the sunherald site.  and as you said this teacher has not been to trial yet so why are we convicting her here. if you dont get to big daddys before i leave i’ll tell them to leave two beers on my tab for you, i wouldnt want you to get a dui on the way home. have i attacked you or been condescending towards you? if so i apologize but i dont think anywhere in this discusssion i have. heading to big daddys see you there.

you are correct, this teacher has not been found guilty or innocent, which i was not responding to anyway iw as responding to the voucher issue so any remarks about it by you or i are just suppositions at this point. do you want to be tried on a news forum? you blast the young woman as a liberal union member? and the basis for that is? she drove a jag i would imagine she is a conservative. liberals drive hybrids? you only know two good teachers out of how many you had contact with? i am sorry i guess i went to different schools. i still contend mobile schools have gotten a lot better, and the elimination of thomas and fournier have helped a lot. i do admit the school board was pretty jacked up for a while.yes i went to public school. i am sorry you had sucha bad experience with them. you get out what you put in. i am diggin in my couch now for some change to go buy a couple of mugs of budweiser.come to big daddys i will buy you one too. i guess you’ll be the angrey one coming in

meamerican: first, i didint attack you or rage at you, i simply stated the voucher issue. look at your tax bill and figure out what portion is for school taxes, and figure out how much tax is in comparison to tuition at mcgill. mine and this fellow i was discussing it with, its a miniscule amount compared to the 9200 alabama invests in each student every year. we live in baldwin county where i thought the taxes would be higher but maybe its becasue i havent transferred the deed in 30 years, they are lower than mobile county. i was in mobile in the early 80’s going to south, and its my contention the schools have gotten a lot better since then, less portables, magnet schools, more and better teachers. talking with parents who are involved with thier childrens education they have improved significantly, although there are certainly still issues with the inner city schools where parents are probably not as involved with thier kids as much as say semmes or saraland. next, you are correct

claycity, you haven’t the slightest idea of what you speak about. In fact you probably couldn’t find your butt with a fist full of fish hooks. Much less the change in that grungy old couch. The school board is so eat up w/ greed and corruption that it can never see past its own members inner chaos to make the public schools a better place. Where have you been hiding that you can’t see the problems in front of you? So what if it’s an alt. school? does that excuse this liberal union teacher of her actions? NO! These teachers in any public school believe they are untouchable. Altough she hasn’t been convicted and is innocent at this point, the problems remain the same. Don’t get me wrong, there are good public school teachers. I know 2 out of hundreds. Being a product of public school indoctrination in mobile, I have a right to my rigid opinions now that I see the light. So dig a little deeper in that couch and go buy yourself a mug of reality. Nuff said! Goodbye and good riddens!

lol carl, sometimes i act brave but inside i am shaking, but even so i think i can handle it better than most men. i do not engage i call 911

Well let me know if things get out of hand Rosepetal and things look like they might get violent. I’ll sent Claycitymadness over there to take care of it. grin

no my house is only 2400 square ft. with about a half acre and we are in the county. maybe not after the annex., can you imagine what the busby’s pay? that gives me cold chills. with todays gas problems you could not pay me to have a chain. no i am looking as we post for another source of income. watching cold case where a guy got mad because the cashier would not pay for him a pack of cigarettes and he beat her to death. its a changing world. you can not believe the people who want the cashiers to spot them beer cigs and gas. its crazy.
