JACKSON, Miss. (AP) - Attorney General Jim Hood says a formerteacher at Mount Olive Attendance Center has been arrested and
charged with having sex with an underage student.
Hood said 28-year-old Delvarin Jarrod Milloy of Mount Olive was
arrested Friday on two counts of sexual battery. The crime
allegedly occurred in September 2005 during the beginning of the
student's eighth-grade year at the attendance center where Milloy
was her teacher. Hood said the girl was 13 at the time.
Milloy was being held at Covington County jail. His bond had not
been set.
