OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (AP) - One person has been killed and asecond was injured in a two-boat collision on Graveline Bayou in
Jackson County.
A spokesman with the Mississippi Department of Marine Resources
said the names of those involved, all believed to be from Jackson
County, and other details had not been released.
The accident occurred about 6:20 a.m. Thursday on the bayou near
Webb Landing. Reports indicated the injured boater was taken to a
hospital in Ocean Springs.
The department said the size of the two boats appeared to be in
the 20-foot or under range.
The accident is being investigated by Marine Resources the Coast
Guard.
