PURVIS, Miss. (AP) - Zachary Riley, who was denied bond in LamarCounty Justice Court after officially being charged with having sex
with two minors, has been charged with four more felony counts.
Forrest County District Attorney Jon Mark Weathers says the
Mississippi Bureau of Investigation on Monday filed two counts of
child molestation, one count of statutory rape and one count of
sexual battery against Riley.
The 23-year-old Riley, of Sumrall, has been held without bond in
the Lamar County Jail since his early Wednesday arrest on two
counts of statutory rape and one count of child molestation.
Prosecutors say the charges involve alleged incidents that
occurred in Lamar County with two females under the age of 14
during the latter part of 2008.
Riley taught routines and tutored local cheerleading squads.
