PASCAGOULA, Miss. (AP) - A Louisiana man was being held Thursdayfor an initial court appearance on charges of making a fake bomb
threat at the Chevron refinery in Pascagoula.
Jackson County Sheriff Mike Byrd says 39-year-old Christopher
Chenevert of Bunkie, La., who was a contract worker
at the refinery, is accused of posting a note in a portable
bathroom that said there was a bomb on the property. No bomb was
found.
No other details of the incident have been released and Byrd
says the investigation is continuing by local, state and federal
authorities.
Chenevert is being held in the Jackson County jail.
