Body Of Missing Boater Is Recovered

BILOXI, Mississippi - BILOXI, Miss. (AP) - The body of a missing boater was found
after an accident on Biloxi's Back Bay.
Police say 24-year-old Kevin Michael Reed of Perkinston was
knocked off his boat Sunday as the boat was passing under the Popps
Ferry bridge.
Police say Reed and four others onboard realized too late that
the fishing tower on top of their boat was too high to clear the
bridge. Police say the other four passengers managed to get off the
boat and were rescued by passing boaters.
Reed was knocked into the water as the tower came down. His body
was found hours later.
There were no other injuries.
