JACKSON, Miss. (AP) - Barring a reprieve from the U.S. Supreme
Court, Dale Leo Bishop will be executed tomorrow (Wednesday) for
participating in the claw hammer beating death of one of his
friends.
The execution is scheduled for 6 p.m. tomorrow at the
Mississippi State Penitentiary at Parchman.
The 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals today (Tuesday) turned
down the second of two requests from Bishop to stop the execution.
The first petition was dismissed Monday.
The 5th Circuit says today that Bishop was trying to argue the
same thing twice -- that his attorney should have done a better
job.
The appeals court says that issue was dismissed once and Bishop
couldn't argue it twice.
Bishop has asked Governor Haley Barbour for clemency. Barbour
isn't likely to do that.

Well asking Haley Barbour for clemency was a smooth move.  Barbour obviously likes to grant killers a pardon.  He would have had a better chance though had he been a trustee at the Governors mansion.

must suck to know the exact moment you will die. Wonder what he is going to eat for his last meal.

I agree 1000000000% Dew . Great comment.

A Mississippi death row inmate who claims lethal injection is unconstitutional because its too painful !!!!  HAHAHHAHA did I read that right???

I wonder how painful it is to be beaten to death with a claw hammer? I’ve hit myself once or twice while working, and I could not imagine being struck multiple times! He should ask the judge to let him be killed by hammer! Him and his buddies did NOT give their victim a choice, and he doesn’t deserve one either!

Good to see he cleaned up for the execution.  gulp
