A Lucedale, Mississippi family is offering a handsome reward for a piece of their family history. The Bexley's home was burglarized two weekends ago. Thieves stole a safe full of deed documents and a coin collection, including two 1922 silver dollars.
The dollars are the only momentos James Bexley has of his brother who died while fighting on the front lines of WWII.
The family knows the coins aren't worth much but they say their sentimental value is priceless.
They are offering a thousand dollar reward for not only the coins, but the entire safe.
"I want [to know] the whole thing, where the safe went and who got it and whatever,"Said James Bexley. "It's all he had of his brother and he never got to be with him, but he still loved him in his own way,"Said Helen Bexley.
If you have any information call Helen Bexley at 601-766-5656.
