Dr. Andrew Yang graduated Cum Laude from the University of Notre Dame and then received his Medical Degree from Creighton School of Medicine in Omaha, NE. He completed his Family Practice Residency at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. He is Board Certified in Family Practice and is a Medical Review Officer. He has received the Dale Carnegie Highest Award for Achievement and is very active in the Niceville community.

As the temperature is rising, more and more people are enjoying the outdoors. At Dr. Andy Yang's office in Niceville, Florida they are treating patients with blisters from sun exposure. Dr. Yang recommends SPF 30 sunscreen or higher for adequate sun protection, especially on overcast days.
In addition, they are also treating patients with allergies. He says allergies may be worse during the next few months. Symptoms such as itchy eyes, runny nose or nasal congestion are the usual symptoms. Trying an over-the-counter antihistamine may be appropriate for most people. However, he says if allergies persist you should see you doctor for further relief.
Dr. Yang is also seeing patients 40 years or older for their annual physical and labs. He recommends that any patient that is on prescription medication see their doctor every 6 months for labs to insure no kidney or liver problems arise from the medications themselves.
