News 5 - The first shipments of the H1N1 vaccine have arrived in several states and it won't be long before parts of the Gulf Coast receives its share.
With an outbreak of the H1N1 virus in schools, health officials want children to be one of the first priority groups to get the vaccine.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says the H1N1 virus was responsible for nearly half of the 128 flu-related deaths in children over the past year.
Children age six months to 24 years are considered high risk.
But not every parent is thrilled about giving their child the vaccine.
A recent Consumer Reports poll of 1,500 parents found that half are not getting their children vaccinated because they say it hasn't been tested enough even though health experts say the vaccine is safe.

I’d like to address Abigail’s comment and advise her to look up the recent FBI investigation on the manufacturer and distributor of the vaccine Baxter international. I think you’ll change your mind when you see the evidence of Baxter purposley contaminating 78 kilos of seasonal ful vaccine with avain live virus in order to aid in the rapid depopulation of this nation and many others. Baxter has been charged with conspiracy to commit mass murder, yet this is the same company that came out with swine flu vaccine patents 8 months prior to it being discovered. Abigail these vaccines AND diseases are made in labs. Please do your own due dilligence and check into this before getting the shot, as it IS untested.

That is interesting mob1.  Our pediatrician says the that vaccine got just as much testing as the regular flu vaccine before it came out.

I will not be getting my son the Swine Flu Vaccine simply due to the fact that his Doctor advised against it. Also my son’s Doctor states He/She does not trust the vaccine due to the lack of testing.
