Drinking alcohol may increase the risk for breast cancer in postmenopausal
women, even if it's in small amounts.
The University of Chicago found that women who drink one or even two drinks a
day had an increase risk of developing tumors.
According to the study:
women who had one to two small drinks a day were 32 percent more likely to
develop a hormone-sensitive tumor.
Three or more drinks a day increased the risk by 51 per cent.
