New Orleans Mayor Quarantined In China

Swine Flu Mayor Mayor Ray Nagin and his wife have been quarantined in China after a passenger on their flight exhibited symptoms of the Swine Flu.

NEW ORLEANS (AP) - New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin and his wife have
been quarantined in China after a passenger on their flight
exhibited flu-like symptoms.
Nagin's office said Sunday the couple and a security guard were
quarantined in Shanghai as a precaution and were exhibiting no
swine flu symptoms. There was no word on what flight it was, how
many people were aboard or exactly where they're quarantined.
His office says a passenger had "signs and symptoms of an
influenza-like illness suspected to be of the H1N1 subtype."
Spokeswoman Ceeon Quiett says people sitting near that passenger on
the flight from Newark, N.J., were quarantined.
Nagin left Friday for an economic development trip. He was to
travel next to Australia, where he'd planned to speak on climate
change and sustainable building.

I wonder if this is some kind of karma for the mayor. After all he is the reason New Orleans is in the state it is in. I remember when I was younger going there to go to the zoo, now you could not pay me to go there. It is almost to the point were it is unlivable in N.O. So now the people over there are going to slowly start filtering in our direction, which is bound to bring the crime with it. However, the sad thing is here in Mobile we are not that far behind them.

I’m sure the citizens of N O are footing the bill. What another waste. He had to bus in the former citizens of NO so he could win election. Legal - I don’t think so, but i don’t live there and wouldn’t live in that filthy place! and Mobile doesn’t watch it we are going down the same path.
