We've all heard that we should drink eight glasses of water a day, but there's not much truth in some common advice.You aren't alone if you strive for 8 glasses of water a day. But did you know you're guzzling a medical myth? The amount was supposed to include hydration from everything like food and drink...not just water.
"You didn't need eight glasses extra of pure water, you just needed that amount of hydration," said Indiana University School of Medicine Researcher Dr. Aaron Carroll.
How about too much sugar makes your kids hyper?.....Another myth!
"There are great studies, lots of studies, that actually show that there's no evidence that sugar, whether it's chocolate or other sweets or sugary drinks, there's no evidence that sugar actually changes kids' behavior," said Indiana University School of Medicine Researcher Dr. Rachel Vreeman.
