WASHINGTON (AP) - Drug maker Pfizer says it's pulling ads for
its drug Lipitor that feature the inventor of the artificial heart.
The ads went into heavy rotation on television and in print in
2006. They feature Robert Jarvik touting the benefits of Lipitor, a
cholesterol-lowering drug that's the world's best-selling
medication.
But House Democrats say the ads could be misleading because
Jarvik isn't licensed to practice medicine.
The company says it will now provide "greater clarity" in its
advertising in terms of spokespeople it uses.

But wait!he would make a great doctor on general hospital or days of our lives.Aren’t commercials for entertainment too?I really like the one that shows a group of people sitting around smiling and loving on each other because they took a product that gave them all a bowel movement.No need for comedies as long as we have commercials.
