Ladies, there could be a good explanation why you pick "mister wrong" too often.There's some evidence to suggest "bad boys" benefit from a certain time of the month.
The study at Indiana University's Kinsey Institute looks at how hormone shifts affect a woman's perception of a potential mate.
"Our original interest was capturing the idea that women's brains respond differently across the menstrual cycle," said Psychologist Dr. Heather Rupp.
During ovulation, women favored riskier, more masculine looking guys.
Toward the end of the cycle, when progesterone levels increase, women opted for safer, more feminine men.
Doctor Rupp says hormones do not control your choices or whether a guy is worth your time.
However, she advises to go a full monthly cycle with a man before deciding if you like him!
