NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Songwriter Hank Cochran is recovering at a Nashville hospital following surgery to remove cancerous tumors from his pancreas and lymph node.The 72-year-old Cochran says the diagnosis was made very early
and doctors expect him to make a full recovery.
He is expected to remain hospitalized for several weeks.
Cochran, a native of Isola, Mississippi, has written several
country classics including Patsy Cline's "I Fall to Pieces," Eddy
Arnold's "Make the World Go Away," and George Strait's "Ocean
Front Property" and "The Chair."
