The American Cancer Society is getting ready to get moving in the fight against breast. The Annual Think Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Walk in Loxley will be help October 6th at Loxley Municipal Park. If you want to attend, be at the park by 8:30 a.m. to register. There will be a 10 dollar registration fee which will include the walk and a t-shirt while supplies last. Call 928-8650 for more information on the event.
Later in October, you'll have a chance to participate in another awareness event. The American Cancer Society will host another walk event called "Paint The Town Pink." This event will be at Spring Hill College on October 27th. Again, registration will begin at 8:30 that morning. There is no cost to attend this event, but you can contribute to the fight against breast cancer by buying a t-shirt or hat at the event.
