They're known as the rock stars of the horse world, and they're on tour in our area. We're talking about the Budweiser Clydesdales. You've probably seen them in the Budweiser commercials, now; you can see them up close and personal. That's because the horses will be making an appearance in a Mardi Gras parade near you. We were not the only ones who scored a one on one with the stars Wednesday; special needs children from Augusta Evans School were also treated to a meet and greet, and they couldn't have been happier about it, "this is the best day ever," said Augusta Evans student, Weylon Rogers. We're told the Budweiser Clydesdales will be in the Mystic Stripers parade in downtown Mobile Thursday night, as well as Sunday's Joe Cain Day parade. They'll also be making an appearance at the Maids of Jubilee parade in Fairhope Friday night.

*shrug* half the population has one. It’s just funny to see the parents get VERY embarrassed and try to explain/ignore their children.

It would only be sick if I jumped over and explained the birds and bees in graphic detail to children that I don’t know!

I like when they bring them out for kids to pet, and the geldings relax…ALL of their muscles. There’s nothing funnier than a kid…eye level with a male horse’s baby maker, points and goes “Mommy, what is THAT?”

This is just not ethical at all. Horses being used to promote alcohol for money. i wonder how many kids will grow up wanting to drink budwieser now? opps ... sorry had a PETA moment. i love them to ,can’t wait to see them friday.
