Two missing Spring Breakers on vacation in Trinidad have been found and we've learned that one of the girls grew up in Mobile.

Kimberly Hays and Mobile native Sophia Roy were found safe and sound Thursday evening. The two were supposed to return to Brown University in Rhode Island on Monday and never showed up.

The U.S. State Department launched an international manhunt for the girls. They were found on Thursday night. According to the local officials, they were neither kidnapped nor harmed.

Caribbean officials believe no foul play was involved. Brown University's campus newspaper is reporting that one of the girls might have been drugged.

The State Department warns Americans to be careful if they chose to travel to the islands of Trinidad and Tobago. The warning reads "violent crimes, including assault, kidnapping for ransom, sexual assault and murder have involved foreign residents and tourists, including U.S. citizens."

Honestly, I’m really fed up with stories like this. I have played host to a lot of US University students, and they consistently do stuff like this. (Run off to visit different places and people and never call anyone)

Those 2 girls went to Tobago for Spring Break. They apparently had a safe and perfectly wonderful time, made friends and decided to prolong their trip and visit the Trinidad home of one of the friends they made. They could and should have called home. The parents of the friend they went to visit had no idea they hadn’t advised anyone as to where they were.

What kind of selfish brats put people through all this? The Police, FBI - were all looking for them and they were happily partying in Trinidad!

Drugs are not often used here, except for marijuana and a bit of cocaine.  We don’t have the cornucopia of drugs here that one can find in the US. Most locals drink, but rarely do drugs. It is unlikely she was drugged. More likely they got very drunk and had a ball partying

After what happened to Natalee Holloway, it is hard to believe parents would finance these kind of trips.
