While thousands turned out to let the good times roll, Mobile Police were making sure it was done responsibly.Mobile Police hit the streets of Downtown Mobile in full force to crack down on underage drinkers.
The Alcohol and Beverage Control Board made their rounds busting any businesses selling alcohol to minors.
Police say if businesses get caught they could lose their liquor license.
"They're aware of it too, they're carting, they're asking for I.D. And if they don't have I.D...and can't prove that they are of legal age, than of course they're not going to serve them a drink,"Said Jackie Bridgeforth with Mobile Police.
Anyone caught drinking under 21 years old will be arrested. You will also have to go to court and face fines.
