80,000 Revelers Pack Downtown Mobile

Alabama Mobile Nice weather means big crowds for Mardi Gras parades.

Mobile Police say 83,267 revelers jammed the streets of downtown Mobile Saturday night to watch the Floral Mystics of Time parade. The evening parade followed an estimated crowd of 17,360 who showed up to watch the afternoon parade.

Police say although there were no major incidents, there were nine adult misdemeanors arrests, two misdemeanor juvenile arrests, two traffic tickets issued, 18 parking tickets and 31 towed vehicles.
