One person was killed when a Jeep hit a pedestrian on State Road 30 in Santa Rosa County, Florida. It happened just after 10pm Thursday night near County Road 399. Brian Winkler of Navarre was driving the Jeep that struck 47 year old Rosa Mead of Gulf Breeze. Florida Highway Patrol officials said Mead was walking south across State Road 30 when she crossed into the path of Winkler. She was pronounced dead on the scene. No charges have been filed. » More
