Throughout the past two weeks many have seen the hard work search and rescuers with the Mobile County Sheriff's Flotilla take on when called to help. For their efforts the flotilla received some help of their own Tuesday.
The E.E. Delaney Foundation presented a check for $35,000 to the flotilla to buy a new search and rescue airboat.
The foundation is set up to help charities in the community.
Mobile County Sheriff Sam Cochran also announced that the flotilla received two other donations: a check for $5000 from Laura Adams and a check for $500 from the Atchison firm.
If you would like to help, you can send donations to the Mobile County Sheriff's Flotilla, P.O. Box 9916, Mobile, Alabama, 36691.
