I agree sweetnsour-makes you wonder why they were “estranged.” I know if I even suspected my kids had done something wrong, I would confront them first, not blatantly slander them to the police and media. It is a mothers job to protect their children, even when we make not like what they do, we can steer THEM in the right direction (turning themselves in, if need be) instead of pimping them out. I sure wouldn’t want that person for my mom.

I also never said I was a transcriptionist, but if you go and look things up on a reputable website you will find that is not the correct way to spell Lortab. You can find Lortab spelled many different ways on websites because anyone can build a website and spell any word the way they want to spell it. A lot of websites that sell prescription drugs do not spell them right. You are not supposed to be able to buy narcotics without a prescription, but some sites advertise them spelled incorrectly so as to not get in trouble.  You can go to WebMD.com which is an accredited health website and find the correct spelling to many medications. You will also not find Loritab in any PDR (Physicians desk reference).  Not trying to be anal about this, but when you type a legal document or report on something that someone other than yourself reads or your family, you really should look words up because it only makes only one person look ignorant and that is the person typing it.

DEW26M:  You act like a DEW10M.  I had just decided to throw my 2 cents in about what I know on this particular subject because I have seen DEW26M on many a comment like you know everything about every subject. You are apparently immature and not worth discussing anything any matter because you already know everything. I guess the LORITAB made you smarter than anyone else.

Since the lady apparently does not live in Mexico and was not trying to use a prescription pad from Mexico, nor a pharmacy in Mexico, the prescription should have been written out as Lortab and not anything else. The pharmacist will ask you if you want generic or the doctor will write that on the prescription and then you will get hydrocodone. Thus, the whole story should have spelled LORITAB as Lortab.

Wow-what an update an what an ordeal for this woman! Hopefully they will find the correct person. And maybe clinics/MD offices will guard their prescription pads a little closer, so these incidents don’t happen again.
