Actually, yes it could be worse. You could be in a burning building with no firemen or anyone to save you. You could not have food to eat, a place to lay your head at night, no job, no money, or no loving people, like southerns, to be there when we are needed! You need to stop degrading southerns because we may be the one to save your sorry butt!

I think you misunderstood what I posted. If anything, I am defending Bamabob. It was Mercedes who misconstrued and contorted what Bamabob was trying to convey. Please re-read the posts, and perhaps resist the temptation to scold me for something that I have not done.

Hmmm...I read and re-read Bamabobs original question. I fail to see where he posed the question “Why are southerners so homicidal”? He simply made a candid observation ("seems like a lot of nefarious stuff happens in Foley") and then asked the question “why is that”? I am curious to know where you could glean or deduct that he was implicating southerners as being homicidal? Knowing Bamabob’s personality, I am almost certain he was simply making a humorous (and much needed) gesture to provide a little comic relief to what is an otherwise macabre situation. By the way, Detroit, Michigan, leads the nation in homicides, followed by Baltimore, Maryland and New Jersey...They are all North of the Mason-Dixon line…

Mercedes- your post makes no sense, you insult southerners then say yankees are the problem with the south. Which is it? As for southerners being “so homicidal” check the net and see where most of the homicides in the US happen, big cities in the north east and on the left coast. A few drug problems in Baldwin County and we are homicidal now. Check yourself cause if you are from the south you know we have it good down here, bad apples in every bunch, but let them weed eachother out and all will be fine. You are from the South? then you don’t believe YOU should have the right to vote, just what we need a bunch of liberals deciding what we do, oops, we already have that its called the Government.
