A fatal accident in Mobile County Monday night.
Alabama State Troopers say a Ford Explorer and Nissan car collided on Highway 188 at Ilene Court.
A woman died in the crash.
Two children were taken by air ambulance to USA Children's and women's hospital.
Troopers are still investigating the accident.

My sister (Ashli) and her Husband (Mac) have always been very close not only to Paula & Doug, but w/ their children as well. I too, had the pleasure of getting to know Paula over the last few years. There are NO words to express, how much her BEAUTY will be MISSED,,, as a Wife,a Mother,a Sister or your Friend.

My deepest condolences to everyone who knew this young lady. Her family and friends will need lots of support. Thank you to DEW26M for listing her myspace page. I did view it and she was very beautiful and appeared to be very happy. I am so sorry for your loss. God Bless you all.

My deepest condolences to the family and friends of Mrs. Wilson. I looked at her myspace page and she was indeed a beautiful woman whose world seemed to revolve around her children and her husband. God bless her beautiful children and may our Good Lord comfort her husband during these next few days and months as he has a hard road ahead of him.

Life is so cruel sometimes but trust in God that he has a plan and he will see her family and friends through this trying time.

A slight correction from curios’ comment: paula is not from florida, she is from Mobile and a former student of Baker High School, though she did live in florida for a little while. She still had florida plates on her vehicle.

Dear Chauna and everyone concerned: Let me relieve you just a bit. A you may know, it was Paula’s youngest two children and her mother that were passengers in the vehicle. NEITHER OF THE CHILDREN ARE IN A COMA! The oldest was not in the vehicle and the youngest two are recovering well and will likely be discharged from the hospital very soon. Family, friendds and co workers are pulling together and have formed a great support unit.A MEMORIAL FUND IN THE NAME OF PAULA WILSON IS THE PROCESS OF BEING ESTABLISHED AT REGIONS BANK. Funeral arraangements have not yet been finalized but will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens in Tillmans Corner (mobile), AL. The family appreciates your condolences. Please continue to pray for her husband and children. Paula was one of my very best friends and was a light in the life of everyone who knew her. She will be dearly missed. Thanks.

Our prayers are with the family. Paula was a gret person, a wonderful friend and a loving wife and mother. She will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Please continue to pray for the recovery of her mother and the boys. Her husband is a strong man, but will need all the prayers we can offer him as he loved his wife very much. Please let us know if there is anything we can do for the family.
