The Baldwin County Sheriff's Office says an woman confessed to embezzling more than $100,000 from Baldwin Youth Services.
Hartmann, Blackmon & Kilgore, PC, an accounting firm that manages several accounts for BYS, noticed a big discrepancy in their records. The firm did an internal review and traced the missing money back to one of it's employees. They say Aimee Frazier embezzled the cash over a 2 year period.
The Sheriff's Office questioned Frazier this morning and says she confessed. Frazier is charged with theft of property and fraudulent use of a credit card.
Bond was set at $12,250.
According to the United Way of Baldwin County's website, Baldwin Youth Services provides "community based corrections to status offenders and shelter to neglected, dependent and abused youth, both in group homes and crisis intervention."
